Your child gets stuck in education?
As a parent you immediately notice when something is wrong with your child. Your child threatens to drop out in regular (vocational) education, but you think it's very important that your son or daughter gets a qualification. Drop out can have various causes, it can have a medical cause, like a disease or a disorder. But also without a clear reason there can be a cause of drop out. To give your child a good entrance to the labourmarket, the Regular Plus project has been initiated. The Regular Plus project is a cooperation between Eega Plus and large ROC's in Overijssel, Gelderland and Drenthe. The expertise of Eega Plus is being attached to the coaching of pupils of the ROC's to achieve in that way the right coaching of the participant.

This means that for your child extra activities can be inserted. For instance a career advice, training and coaching at school.

Plan of approach
What is the plan of coaching like? The procedure of Regular Plus has the following steps:
- Registration of the participant
- Information arrives at Eega
- Intake
- An inventory of the problems
- The discussion about the proposal with the participant,
  the parents and the coaches of the ROC
- The participant is entered for discussions, investigations or an assessment stage to get
  clear what is a suitable training and a suitable occupation and a suitable supervision
- Advice and appointments about the stage that is to be followed in cooperation
  with the ROC coaching

It is important that during the whole stage there is a close contact with the parents and the coaches of the ROC.

What is the extra coaching?
Your child will get coaching where it is needed. In a 6 weeks' Intensive Introduction a clear vision of training possibilities, coaching needs and necessity has been obtained. About this a report is written that will be discussed extensively with the participants. With this report as a guidance the supervision will be executed. It is possible that as a result of this a participant will come to a site of Eega to finish his education, but it is also possible that the participant stays at school and gets the coaching that is needed there.

I think that my child will be considered for this, who can I contact?
When it's your opinion that the above fits your son or dauhgter, contact the mentor of your son's or daughter's school. The mentor can tell you more about the project and if necessary he can enter your child.
