Description of the project:

In the project a number of activities has been described to realise the goals set out.

The activities are:
Development of practical instruments, such as a detection instrument. The detection instrument is a record of signaling inside the school to interfere quickly and adequately and to prevent from dropping out and to make the right (education) choices.

The instrument can also be used to detect a wide scala of psychosocial problems and must be seen as a flexible tool that is inserted in the intake, supplementory intake, but also during education. The goal of the instrument is not to diagnose, but only signaling and if necessary to direct to internal or external coaching.

Empowerment
This is a programme of making choises for education and profession after becoming conscious of the problems and accepting the possibilities.

Transition
The stage of transition is a programme of taking care of and a connection with which the participant can integrate in regular education again.

Genuine cooperation between schools, advisors and care providers . Goal is to organize the cooperation with a right cast from the different disciplins , within one development plan.

Policy advising
Developments and results of the project will lead to advising the ministry of SCW and OCW. Particularly in the field of finding and organising a suitable vocational training leading to work for the participants with handicap related problems.
